RELAX...You're in great hands!
Nearly 50% of the population feels nervous or
uncomfortable about going to the dentist or having dental procedures done.
Dr. Mike O’Neil and his team at Today’s Dentistry have dedicated themselves
to making patients comfortable and at ease during dental exams and
procedures. It is our belief that with Conscious Oral Sedation Dentistry we
can treat patients so desperately in need of dental care but who are too
afraid to seek the care they need.
In an open and caring atmosphere patients can be provided
pain free dental care knowing they are not being judged or looked down upon
because of their anxiety over dentistry. We strive to excel at the
technical aspects of dentistry but just as important we strive to care for
the patient’s emotional needs. There will be times that just getting
through the door for a consultation will be a small victory for some of our
patients. We know the importance of that first step and we are committed to
providing compassion and starting a relationship built on trust. We take
your fear seriously and are dedicated to providing a dental experience that
will both improve your dental health and lessen your dental fears.
If you are a person in need of multiple dental services
wouldn’t it be nice to have that work done in one or two appointments as
opposed to five or six appointments; with no pain and minimal memory of that
experience? Instead of being discouraged by the prospect of multiple
appointments you can now choose to have an experience of
pain free, comfortable dentistry in one visit.
If you are someone who hasn’t been to the dentists in
years because of fear and anxiety, Dr. O’Neil is committed to providing you
with a safe and pain free dental experience.

How You May Feel
Most patients remember nothing about their treatment. A few will remember a
little, usually at the end of the appointment when we are getting them ready to
go home. You will need someone to bring you to our office on the day of your
sedation appointment and you MUST have someone take you home afterwards.
Safety of Sedation
The reason that we use oral sedation is because of its safety. We use monitoring
equipment to monitor your pulse and blood pressure. You’ll be done before you
know it, completely unaware of the time passing, totally relaxed.
